I love the way the camera zooms in on Daphne’s back and we hear this song directly afterwards. Perfect song for that moment
One of my absolute favorites is of course Claudine Crane. She is a full blooded faery and uses fae magic to protect Sookie from the Ratree’s. She was fierce and loyal to our people. If only that vamp Eric hadn’t drained her to death. *frowns in mourning* RIP Claudine.
One of my favorite characters is Godric. His age and wisdom, and commanding presence was a nice change from many of the vicious vampires. RIP Godric

I remember someone writing a blog on the pen they bought from HBO and how it was of poor quality. After my own experience, it sparked me to write this. Now of course I didn’t buy the pen, but I wanted a poster and t-shirt. So I casually looked online at their array of what they call posters. Last time I checked 11” x 17” does not quality as a poster. That’s like a sheet of paper. Way too small for what I wanted, so I bought a huge True Blood poster of the whole cast from AllPosters.com. The product was perfect and I received it within the week. (Looks fabulous framed on my wall) Onto the shirt. I looked through the many shirts HBO had to offer and there were plenty to choose from. Since I didn’t care for the women’s, I opted for a men’s black True Blood logo. I waited over two weeks for my order and was so excited when it finally arrived. I open up the package and low and behold, the shirt looks faded. On the site, the shirt appears black with the logo from the True Blood bottles. I shrugged it off and proudly wore it. Come laundry day, I did exactly as the washing instructions said. Turn inside out, washed it in cold water, then dried on low. When I took out the shirt, I realized the ink used on the design came off. How sad that for $20, HBO’s store couldn’t make decent products. So when looking for True Blood merchandise, shop elsewhere or just make it yourself!
One of my favorite scenes that made me laugh is in Season 2 when Daphne is leading Sam to crazy ass Maryann’s orgy. Sam: Where ya taking me? Daphne: Don’t be such a nervous Nelly! It’s a surprise. Sam stops when he hears drumming in the distance. Daphne: What? You don’t like drums? Sam: It’s just in my experience, no good can come from drum music. Follow it and all it will lead you to is hippies and cults.

#Fangathon2012 Day 18: A Memorial Day Tribute
Let’s start with the town of Bon Temps. There are many descendants of Civil War veterans and members of the historical society “Descendants of the Glorious Dead.” Even the mayor’s great-grandfather lived during the Civil War.
Then there’s William T. Compton. In 1860, he went off to serve as First Lieutenant in the 28th Louisiana Infantry for the Civil War.
And we also have Terry Bellefleur. He is Gulf War veteran who served in Iraq, in particular Fallujah. During his tour of duty, he has claimed to have shot and killed 20 Iraqis. Like many veterans, he has psychological and emotional issues from what he witnessed and did while serving in the war.
Happy Memorial Day and thank you to all who have served to protect this country.
